RIDING HORSES IN DRAKENSBERG SOUTH AFRICA

Drakensberg mountains is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places in South Africa. Check

Drakensberg mountains is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places in South Africa. Check out my instagram for more posts: https://www.instagram.com/jessica_vanheerden/ We spent the week at Midlands Saddle and Trout farm situated high up in the mountains, we had the most beautiful view from our little house we stayed in. Midlands Saddle and trout is part of the First Group Resorts in South Africa. You can find them on instagram https://www.instagram.com/first_group_mgmt/ or visit them here http://www.firstresorts.co.za/Pages/default.aspx In the beginning of 2016 I booked a week here for Bren and I to celebrate our 5 year dating anniversary, unfortunately Bren moved jobs and couldnt take an entire week off so I invited my family to join me and they loved it so much. We were hoping for snow but snowflakes fell 3 weeks after our visit. We went from the 20th of June and snowfall was end of July so if you want to experience ice mountains make sure to book around end July. We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom house with 2 luxurious bathrooms, beautiful kitchen, spacious living areas and a breathtaking view. You can find them here: http://www.midlandssaddle.co.za/Pages/default.aspx I would recommend this resort to anyone who loves calm and relaxing getaways. The resort is extremely kids friendly and we had the best horse trail around the resort and up the mountains. I cant wait to come back next year and experience the snow with Bren ? Bren and I ended up celebrating our 5 year anniversary at a garden farmers market Ive wanted to go to for months. It was such a lovely surprise and you can watch that video here: https://youtu.be/URnch3gRLlw A big thank you to my brother for filming this, go give him a follow: https://www.instagram.com/piet_vanheerden/ *None of the content or links in this video is sponsored, I love sharing my experiences with you and all opinions are my own.
