Look out for the “SOLD OUT” sign: Tickets selling fast on www.thederby.co.za!

The 2018 SA Derby presented by SA’s newest entertainment platform – black, is set to sell out soon, with Grandstands A & B officially sold out. Commencing on 26 September 2018, Kyalami Park Club will be the place to be seen with the who’s who set to strut their stuff amongst South Africa’s greatest equestrians.

Kyalami Park Club Chairman Jan Kleynhans says he’s delighted with the equestrian community’s responsiveness in purchasing their tickets early. “There are limited seats available in grandstands C, D, E and F for the Sunday spectacle known as The SA Derby. There are still some Champagne Village tickets available, however we anticipate these to sell like hotcakes with only 5 weeks to go until the show starts. I am particularly looking forward to Saturday’s show schedule, which we’ve hyped up significantly offering much more value for the spectator than we’ve ever seen in this show’s 52 year history,” says Kleynhans.

“It is not a surprise that an event of this calibre is selling out fast. With the best of SA riders participating, we know it will be an event to remember and we are extremely proud to be a part of it,” says black Chief Executive, Surie Ramasary.

Saturday 29 September 2018 will see the first ever 1.35m Speed Derby Championships, and will serve as a thrilling warm up to Sunday’s sizzling show jumping. Over and above this will be the 1.40m Mini Derby 3rd Qualifying round as well as entertainment galore. Included in the R70* General Access ticket will be the following: access to the Retail Village, the Food Village and the Kids Entertainment Area; multiple bars; grandstand seating on a first-come, first-served basis (note that this is for the Saturday ONLY); and access to the Official Saturday After Party. Guests can enjoy delicious food options available at the Food Village. There will also be a variety of lawn games available including lawn bowls and giant Jenga. The After Party DJ Lineup will continue to keep things hot and it’s what everyone is talking about:

4:30pm – 6:30pm Tomorrow’s Will

6:30pm – 8.00pm Abby Nurock

8:00pm – 9.00pm DJ WAGS

*Ticket price excludes online booking fees.

After Party access is included complimentary for anyone who has paid the R70* online or R100 entry fee to watch the 1.40m Mini Derby qualifying rounds and 1.35m Speed Derby Championship. All grandstand seating on a first come first serve basis for Saturday ONLY. All guests aged 16 and under may attend free of charge.
